I'm very impressed with this innovative little pipe. It's well engineered, dismantles easily for cleaning, and it provides a reliable and smooth smoke - just make sure to keep the holes in the bowl clear with the poker tool.

It may seem a little expensive initially, but it's a very reliable and well manufactured product which I have no doubt will last many, many years, if not a lifetime.

Great for bringing out of the house, the lid on the bowl can be opened and closed in tiny increments, and as soon as it is fully shut the embers go out and there is no more smoke. I would almost call it stealthy were it not for its unusual look, which certainly draws the eye

I am more than happy with my replacement pokers and mouthpiece. They are perfect authentic parts, competitively priced and delivered on time. I have bought a few replacement parts over the years as I can be quite forgetful. The Proto Pipe is built to last and used regularly. I bought my first Proto Pipe about 40 years ago and my current model I have used well over 30 years.

Brilliant design, comes apart and every piece can be cleaned and maintained. Looks great too.

I first hadc1 20+ yrs ago and it got list or stolen and a part,I was well gone so can't say it was one or other.i didn't think that I would see another after so long,so once I spied I had to get.
Another peice of kit. Chuffed as ,as its perfect to me.
I suggest big time.
If you don't mind a little mantinance, I shall say again I recommend.
